terunobu hirata is a melbourne based potter who works in stoneware and porcelain. having studied at the warrandyte potter’s cottage in the 1990’s, he has been practising for over 15 years. in that time, he has also studied alongside a number of traditional potters in japan with a particular influence on japanese bizen pottery.
