this range by szilvia gyorgy is made from hand-thrown porcelain. porcelain in notoriously difficult to throw. it has a tendency to want to return to the memory contained within the clay before it has water in the mix. this creates soft undulating slightly rubbery tendency in the plasticity of the forms. these pendants are called the "dint" range, as when the pieces are partially dried szilvia gently pushes pieces against each other to create their unique form.
