louisa hart is a local sydney ceramist. hart uses a creative mix of pottery techniques to create these planters. 

the base of the planter is wheel thrown and the walls are handbuilt from slabs of clay. the impression on the outer surface is rolled into the slab of clay before it is formed to the base. 

this piece is watertight (and has no hole in the base)
