a planet original design by ross longmuir 2020, to safely hold your burning candle and collect the excess drip wax. the candle holder is made just for planet by craftspeople in northern central india and carries the planet logo on the base. its made from solid brass with a polished finish.

to help secure the candle to the base, simply melt a small amount of wax and place the candle into the base with a little pressure. to clean away excess wax, use some boiling water and pour it over the melted wax.

over time the brass will tarnish and patina. if you want to clean tarnished brass, dissolve one teaspoon of salt into one-half cup of vinegar, add enough flour until the mixture becomes a paste then rub into the brass and leave for about ten minutes and then rinse with warm water and buff dry. alternately use traditional brass cleaners. *candle not included. pure organic beeswax candles suitable to fit the candle holders are available to purchase in-store or via our online store. 

*care should always be taken with burning candles; keep clear of flammable materials. it is advised to never leave a burning candle unattended.
