100% pashmina. hand loomed and handwoven in india. pashmina is the finest type of cashmere wool occurring from three breeds of goats. the fibre is collected at the beginning of each spring when the goats naturally shed their undercoats. the fine hairs are selected from the courser 'guard' hairs by hand, then stretched, and softened. pashmina fibre is then hand spun and handwoven in a delicate and time-consuming process.
